Gingersnap Cookie Martini

For me, the taste of gingersnap cookies always reminds me of Christmas. That perfect fusion of warm spice from the ginger and sweet from the molasses balanced with cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves always brings me back to my childhood Christmas memories. While I still enjoy a good gingersnap cookie, adding in a little booze makes the holidays that much more festive.

 Ingredients

• 2 ounces of salted caramel vodka
• 1 ounce ginger liqueur
• 0.75 ounces of maple syrup
• 0.5 ounces of molasses
• Pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove
• Slice of ginger for garnish

 Utensils

• Jigger
• Shaker
• Ice
• Martini Glass

 Instructions

1. Fill shaker with ice.
2. Add in all ingredients except ginger garnish. Stir or shake as desired.
3. Pour into martini glass and serve with ginger garnish.
4. Enjoy! *Note – the spices will settle to the bottom of the drink if you don’t stir often.

Spiced Cranberry

Ah, Thanksgiving. That time of year where you gather with family you love (for the most part) and stuff yourself so full of turkey, stuffing, potatoes and more that you can barely move after 4pm. This drink is a perfect complement to your Thanksgiving dinner or even perfect to get rid of that leftover cranberry sauce sitting in your fridge. It’s tangy, sweet and oh so divine. The spiciness of the ginger liqueur helps cut through the sugar for a well-balanced cocktail.

·         0.5 ounces of ginger liqueur
·         Club soda

Utensils

·         Ice
·         Measuring spoon
·         Mixing spoon

Instructions
1.       Add ice in the Collins glass until full. Add in vodka, ginger liqueur and cranberry sauce.

2.       Stir with mixing spoon then top with club soda. Garnish with candied cranberries if you wish!
